Our Reception & Community Room
One of the unique features at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, is the availability of our Reception & Community Room for receptions and family meals. We have the ability to cater everything from light lunches for small gatherings to full course hot meals for larger groups.
We have on-site facilities (fully-functional kitchen) to assist your family with the preparation of a post service reception, or a family meal between visitation periods (5-7 pm). The use of our reception facilities for family meals in between visitation periods is provided as a courtesy to your family at NO COST.
Our reception facilities can accommodate over 100 family members and friends comfortably. Based on our tradition of supporting local businesses, all food is supplied by local catering companies and is served by Reid Funeral Home Hostess/Host staff.
You are welcome to use your own caterer, whether it's friends wanting to provide the meal, a fraternal group, or bringing items from your home, we will make all the arrangements for you.
Our Reception & Community Room is available to all families, service groups and fraternal organizations.

With our "Book of Memories" you are provided with world -class memorialization opportunities for families and friends and our surrounding communities.
The choice is yours. You are provided with the opportunity to share your words of comfort with a condolence message, share a Life Story, make a charitable contribution, upload your own photos, light a candle and even order flowers.
This provides our families with a completely interactive and permanent memorial tribute for their loved one.
